The Lobster Pot

We come here often and have our favorites. Namely the shrimp cocktail, crab cakes, stuffed mushrooms, lobster rolls, shrimp and lobster newburg, and any of the fresh fish are always great. Their lake perch and walleye are staples and always really good. They offer a lot of specials every day, both entrees and desserts! They have a great happy hour too! Service is good and we like the atmosphere. Plenty of parking.

Perfect end to a rough day! We decided to stop at the Lobster Pot for our first meal. From the moment you walked in the door you are greeted with some wonderfully friendly faces! We had a waitress named Heather who was so knowledgeable about the menu and gave us some wonderful suggestions. We decided to try the Admiral feast and a drink named The Dizzy Dory that was delicious. We also decided to get an order of hush puppies I would have taken a picture of all of them but they were so good we ate them! Our dinner came and it was a delightful bounty of king crab leg lobster tail shrimp red skin potatoes and brussel sprouts. It was delicious and just when I thought I couldn't get any better the key lime pie we ordered was delivered. What a delectable dessert that was! All in all the food and the service and the atmosphere were perfect we will definitely be back again!

Tonight we had a family gathering at Lobster Pot in Willoughby, we had a party of 20, the staff went above and beyond the call of duty waiting on us, from making sure we had drinks to making sure our food was right but let's talk about their lobster roll, I have heard it will be the best ever but I had to find out for myself and let me tell you I almost cried everything you have heard is true the lobster was perfectly cooked and I love Lobster so I got the lobster ravioli and it was to die for. This was my first visit and I definitely plan on going back.

Reservations are a must, I booked on line using my phone the afternoon of needed date.. Dinner was totally worth every penny. Food was so full of flavor with beautiful presentation. Service was on point and knowledgeable. Very clean atmosphere with a seaside ambiance. I'm definitely coming back. I don't care how full you are I totally recommend getting a piece of the key lime pie and the pecan pie to go home with I don't like pecan pie but I ate every bit of one we got LOL

This five star rating as includes that fact that the AC was broke and it was hot as sin. The poor kitchen and serving staff is to be commended on their efforts on Friday, July 19th. My wife and I tried The Lobster Pot on a recommendation from friends and we were incredibly pleased with our dining experience. Our server, Alex, was amazing. Despite dripping in sweat and having pulled a double she was amazingly attentive to us our entire visit. Alex was our favorite type of server, honest and forthcoming about all of our inquiries. She never committed herself to anything without checking to make sure what we asked met her expectations for serving. Bravo! Our meal began with the Octopus (pictured) as an appetizer. It was perfectly prepared, flash grilled and not one but chewy. The seasoning was fantastic and we finished wishing there were more. Our main courses were The Mariner Platter (broiled rather than fried) and my wife enjoyed it very very much. The Haddock and the scallops were her favorite parts of the dish and the green beans were unexpectedly delicious. My entree was the Swordfish (pictured) with avocado/crab salsa. The swordfish was, again, perfectly prepared. Our entire dining experience lived up to the recommendation we received and believe others will enjoy The Lobster Pot as well. Make time to go, you’ll be glad you did.

This was my first time eating here. The atmosphere was very nice. The food was simply delicious. And even though they were short on help, the service was wonderful. The drinks were amazing. It's a little pricey, but it was a great experience.

Love this place! It's the second time we've been here and had a fabulous meal!!

I can't say enough about how incredible this place is! The food is amazing, the staff is very nice and helpful. We had Rockefeller oysters, crab stuffed ruby red trout, and salmon alfredo (technically not on the menu but they subbed salmon for me). We're already talking about the next time we come!
